BPUT Welfare Fund is a student insurance policy for BPUT students. The insurance policy provides financial support to the student or guardian in the event of the student's death while enrolled in the BPUT system due to an accident, student accidents such as limb injuries or loss of an eye, and the death or permanent total disability of an earning parent/guardian (as per university records) resulting from an accident. It also covers the reimbursement of hospitalization costs for the student as an inpatient due to illness, disease, or injury. Under this insurance policy, only the current year or upcoming tuition fee is covered on your behalf by BPUT University.
